MOT Appointment Times
Our MOT appointments are available Monday to Friday. The first slot is at 8am and the final slot is at 4pm. There is no testing between 1pm and 2pm.
Tests take approximately 45 minutes to complete and we kindly ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your appointment. If you arrive late, we may need to rearrange your MOT at an additional charge.

If your MOT is due to expire soon or has already expired, we can offer same-day or next-day MOT appointments where space is available.
You can check our upcoming availability in our online booking calendar and reserve your appointment with a £20.00 deposit. We always advise booking as early as possible because appointments are limited.

There is no need to bring anything with you on the day, unless you have an imported vehicle. In that instance, please bring your log book along to the appointment.
However, there are some basic checks that we recommend all drivers carry out in advance of their MOT. They do not guarantee a pass, but help to prevent simple faults and delays on the day. They include checking that:
Your lights are working
Your tyres look safe and legal
Your washer fluid is topped up
Your oil and water levels are correct
Your number plates are clean and readable
Your vehicle is clean enough to be inspected properly
On The Day
You are welcome to wait while your MOT is carried out. We have a small reception area available on-site. However, many customers choose to wait at Costa Coffee or Asda - both of which are just a short walk away.

If Your Vehicle Fails Its MOT
In most instances your vehicle will pass and you will receive your MOT certificate.
If it fails, we will explain the result clearly to you and talk you through the next steps. We will talk through any failure items and advisories, so you understand what has been found and the areas that require attention.
We offer a free retest if you rebook within 10 working days of your failed test.
