Repairs for Cars and Small Vans

We provide vehicle repairs and maintenance for cars and small vans from our Norwich workshop.

Whether your vehicle has failed its MOT, developed a warning light or needs general maintenance, our qualified technicians can inspect the problem, explain what is required and provide a clear quotation

Repairs Following an MOT Failure

If your vehicle fails its MOT, we will explain which defects need attention and what is required before it can pass.

Our technicians can carry out many of the repairs identified during the test, including problems involving brakes, tyres, suspension, exhausts and corrosion.

Once the required work has been completed, we can arrange your MOT retest. Vehicles that fail their MOT with us qualify for a free retest within 10 working days.

Brake Repairs

Your brakes are one of the most important safety systems on your vehicle.

If you notice squeaking, grinding, reduced braking performance or a warning light, arrange an inspection as soon as possible.

We can assess your braking system and advise you if components such as brake pads, discs or pipes require attention.

Tyres

Damaged, worn or incorrectly inflated tyres can affect handling, braking and MOT performance.

We can inspect your tyres for tread depth, damage and general condition, explain any issues and advise you where replacement is necessary.

Suspension Repairs

Suspension problems are a common reason for MOT failure.

Signs of a possible problem can include knocking noises, uneven tyre wear, poor handling or the vehicle sitting lower on one side.

We can inspect suspension components, including springs and lower arms, and explain any repairs that are required.

Exhaust Repairs

A damaged or deteriorating exhaust can cause excessive noise, reduced performance and increased emissions.

We can inspect your exhaust system and advise whether a repair or replacement is needed.

Vehicle Diagnostics

Warning lights, unusual performance or intermittent faults can be difficult to diagnose without the right equipment.

We can carry out vehicle diagnostics to identify the cause of the problem and explain what work, if any, is required.

Air Conditioning

If your air conditioning is no longer cooling the vehicle effectively, it may need checking or servicing.

Our team can assess the system and advise you on the work required to restore its performance.

Vehicle Welding

Corrosion can affect the condition and structural strength of a vehicle and is a common reason for MOT failure.

Where appropriate, we can carry out vehicle welding to address affected areas and help restore the condition of the vehicle.

Any required work will be explained before repairs begin.

Car and Van Servicing

Regular servicing can help identify developing problems before they lead to a breakdown or MOT failure.

We provide servicing for cars and small vans and can advise you on suitable intervals based on the vehicle, mileage and manufacturer recommendations.

Clear Advice Before Work Begins

We believe you should understand what is wrong with your vehicle and what the repair will involve.

Our technicians will explain:

What the problem is

What work is recommended

Whether the repair is urgent

What the likely cost is

Whether the issue may affect an MOT

We will not begin additional work without discussing it with you first.
